FORT WORTH / DALLAS-FORT WORTH

Medical & wheelchair
transportation in Fort Worth.

Request transportation from Fort Worth to a local appointment or another DFW destination. Include the appointment start time and the time you need to check in. The owner reviews the route, vehicle and assistance needs with you before confirming the ride.

Check the Fort Worth arrival and discharge instructions.

Texas Health Fort Worth publishes campus maps and construction updates. Check those instructions when arranging a pickup or return; the entrance used for a discharge can change as work around a building progresses.

For a Fort Worth discharge, distinguish an expected release time from the time staff confirm you are ready to leave. Give the owner a direct coordinating contact, the agreed meeting point and the person receiving you at home or the next facility. Call if release timing changes so the pickup can be reviewed.

Have these route details ready

  • The correct tower or outpatient building for your Fort Worth visit.
  • Current discharge or construction instructions supplied by the facility.
  • A reachable release contact, receiving contact and entrance-access details at the destination.

What should I share for a Fort Worth hospital discharge ride?

Passenger pricing across DFW

Private vehicle, medical van and wheelchair van rides use the same passenger rate: $75 per leg includes pickup and 10 driving miles, then $2.50 per driving mile beyond 10. A second wheelchair rider sharing the pickup, destination and timing adds $35 per leg. Outbound and return legs are estimated separately.

Base rates apply weekdays from 6 AM to 6 PM Central, excluding holidays. The highest applicable pickup premium is 25% on weekends, 50% from 6 PM to 6 AM, or 75% on holidays; these premiums do not stack. Waiting includes a 15-minute grace period, then $40 per hour for ambulatory transport or $70 per hour for wheelchair transport. The owner confirms your route, wait arrangements and final quote before booking.
